Discover the ECHORD++ Robotics Innovation Facilities (RIFs)

Discover our ECHORD++ Robotics Innovation Facilities (RIFs) in this brand new video.

Watch the video here.

Discover our RIFs - Robotics Innovation Facilities. RIFs give you free access to high-tech robotics equipment and expertise in a wide range of application domains, such as collaborative robots, manufacturing, healthcare, logistics and agriculture. At our unique facilities we offer all of these services at virtually zero risk, in a partnership, with safeguarded intellectual property.

With the RIFs you can:

  • study feasibilities and demonstrate the proof of concepts
  • improve processes
  • investigate new products and services
  • improve the skills of you and your staff
  • try out new technology ideas and explore new, smart solutions.

Currently three RIFs have opened their doors to you: one in Bristol in the United Kingdom, one in Paris-Saclay in France and one in Peccioli near Pisa in Italy. Applying for a RIF engagement is easy, non-bureaucratic and open to European companies, institutions, researchers and research organisations. Applying is possible at any time, there are no fixed dates and no deadlines.

Just go to http://echord.eu/rif, tell us a bit about yourself and your needs and we will contact you shortly thereafter.

About ECHORD++ (The European Coordination Hub for Open Robotics Development): The aim of ECHORD++ is to strengthen the knowledge transfer between scientific research, industry and users in robotics and to stimulate their cooperation. The EU-funded project with a runtime of five years (2013 – 2018) funds small-scale research projects called experiments, Public end-user Driven Technological Innovation (PDTI) and established Robotics Innovation Facilities (RIFs), open labs providing state-of-the-art robotic hardware and software as well as scientific and technical support.

ECHORD++ is a joint project of Technische Universität München (project coordinator), Blue Ocean Robotics, Bristol Robotics Laboratory, Commissariat à l'Énergie Atomique et aux Énergies Alternatives, Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
